Hospital Scare

Nervous
So, Friday morning at work, around 3:00, I started getting a really tight feeling in my chest with some pain. I took things slow and easy, and eventually had a chance to sit for a little bit. I started to feel just fine after sitting for a little bit, but then it just went way downhill. My chest just got super tight, and horribly painful. I kept calm surprisingly, or I'd most likely have had a panic attack on top of it all. I got my manager to come over, he got me a ride with a female associate to the ER, which by the time we were about half way to the hospital, the pain quit, and by the time I got to see the doctor, my breathing was almost normal. Still a little labored, but no more gasping.
My OB prescribed me Tylenol 3, it's a higher dose of acetaminophen than over the counter, and mixed with codeine.(This is for severe back pains I've been getting for years from an injury I got from landing on my lower back on the edge of a metal tipped cement step in my middle school. Chipped vertibre that acts up occasionally, but now with being pregnant, it hurts ALL the time. So I can't take anything for it with the baby that I used to, so that was what he gave me.) My grandmother is allergic to codeine, and I may be too, but it was almost three hours after I took the single pill that I had the chest pains. The ER doctor didn't seem to think it was the pill, and after many blood tests, and an ultrasound to check for blood clots in my legs, he thought it could be just the heat and humidity, though I was inside work in the AC. Or asthma. Which wouldn't be surprising, as I've never been much of a runner, I always get winded super fast. Even when I was a kid playing 3 different sports. Plus it runs heavily in my family.
The baby is fine. Everything checked out all right, and I have another appointment with my OB Monday, even though I was just there on Thursday the ER doctor wants me to go back and talk to him about this. So, I'll update again after the appointment. Blah. Being pregnant is exciting but also super worrisome, and sooo hard on my back. But it'll all be worth it in the end.

Is there any wonder?
Why we came about
Was it for love?
Or to let sin abound
Isn't it a wonder
Awake from blood thick dreams
Remove all the stones from our hearts
We must all believe...

O Spirit, whom the Father sent To spread abroad the firmament.
Oh wind of heaven, by Thy might Save all who dare the eagle's flight.
And keep them by thy watchful care From every peril in the air. - Naval Hymn.
